With over 700 machines in production currently in South Africa, the Hoffmann Dovetail Joining System is one or the fastest and most trusted joining systems The key advantage of the Hoffmann Joining System is the ability to produce strong joints quickly without having to clamp the joint or having to wait for the glue to dry. This means that a jointed workpiece may be further processed immediately after joining. The Hoffmann Dovetail Joining System has almost unlimited applications in the woodworking industry. A wide range of Hoffmann Keys is available to guarantee the right size fastener for any given joint. Available in four different cross sections, W-1, W-2, W-3 and W-4, and in Lengths ranging from 1/4" up to 4", the Keys draw the material together tightly, providing pressure for a proper glue bond. No additional fasteners or clamps are needed to achieve a perfectly aligned joint.

Portable, bench-top model fitted with 1000 W motor. To produce a single dovetail keyway with each machine cycle. Twin version with double spindle available on request. OperationBy operating the hand lever, the work-piece is clamped and starts the motor. Continued pressure raises the router to a pre-set depth. Releasing the handle, the router returns to its home position, releases the work-piece and switches the motor off. All fence positions are adjusted manually.

PPneumatic, semi-automatic routing machine with 530 W motor and accessories. Suitable for small series production. Also available as a twin-version with 2 cutters. Most original Hoffmann accessories an be fitted on this model. OperationThe automatic machine cycle is started using a foot pedal. The work-piece is clamped, the router travels to a predetermined depth and then returns to its home position. The motor then switches off and the work-piece is released. All fence positions are selected manually.

The Hoffmann MS 35-SF saw and routing machine combines precision sawing with the dovetail routing in the work-piece for the Hoffmann Dovetail Key Jointing System. The machine is designed with consideration not only for high productivity but most important for quality of cut. Veneered or polished profiles, aluminium parts, plastic extrusions and many other materials can be processed with this double mitre machine. An in-feed table (2.5 m net) is attached to the left of the machine for optimal positioning of the material. The fence table with digital stop (2.5 m net) is attached to the right of the machine for precise measurement control. The machine operation can be selected for combination use or mitre saw only. Special supports for various work-piece configurations can be adapted for respective tasks. Operation
