Membraneless Vacuum Presses

Hunter produces the only membraneless press in the world to press and mould PVC into tight grooves on doors and panels without having to have air release holes in the back of the panels.
This machine does not use high pressure and uses only atmospheric pressure which saves on paying for expensive hydraulics and heavy steel to hold in the air pressure which can
amount to 250-300 tons depending on the size of the machine.
Hunter has discovered how to remove all the air from under the PVC before it is moulded onto the panels by using atmospheric pressure eliminating all the expense of building large machines.

This machine can be fitted with a membrane to press wood veneer and transfer foils.

This machine has used and tested on 95% of various PVC 's manufactured throughout the world ranging from .002mm to .07mm hi-gloss and presses a perfect panel every time.

Panels pressed from this machine have been tested against large pressure presses 3-4 times the price. These panels were tested at the Otto-Graf Institute at the University Stuttgart in Germany with impressive results.

The Machine is capable of forming O.7mm high gloss PVC into very deep grooving without losing surface finish.
Fast and inexpensive. No heated membrane blanket is required.
No hydraulic rams, compressors or tanks are used, allowing low running and maintenance costs.
The short cycle time eliminates the problem of bowed panels.
This machine is easy to operate and little maintenance is necessary.
This machine is faster per cycle than pressure machines.
